“ We visited Toro for the first time yesterday and we were pleasantly surprised! We arrived before the weekday happy hour ended and ordered pretty much everything on the happy hour menu. The wine was great, all the tapas were excellent. Service was on point. Everyone checked on us, great team work. A bonus was the live spanish guitar on the patio. We will definitely be back to try one of the paella dishes. ”

He explained all that is going on in the restaurant so we know when to come back. The tapas were delicious and the drink to match too. “ First time going to Toro for dinner with friends and family. We made reservations as the place apparently can get really busy. And we were so happy we did. The vibe of the place is more like classy but laid back. We were seated right away. Our server (I'm so sorry I forgot his name) was really so good. He explained everything we needed to know about the offerings they had and answered our questions with a nice cheery attitude that shows he really loved what he does. We ordered a few tapas and 2 kinds of paella, a few cocktails, and a pitcher of white sangria. Everything was so good. I really will go back to try the rest of their menu items ”

“ My husband took me to Toro Kitchen and Bar for my birthday. It was a fantastic experience and a delight for all the senses. One may eat inside or outside, but reservations are recommended. Flamenco music by Chris played on the patio: a very nice touch. Toro is located in somewhat of a blind spot at La Cantera, so when we saw the lively establishment, we knew it must be great. It seemed the clientele knew about Toro and were probably return customers. We ate paella, a meat and cheese board, and we had a few cocktails. I highly recommend the cocktails and chupitos (tasty shots) as they were delicious and had an original flair. Trust me on this: order the coffee cocktail after dinner. The waiter/waitress will make it table side. It is a spectacular show! Fire, aromatics and flavor, all provided by your alchemist waitress. I hope to be back soon with friends. ”
